First time out on a Mountain Bike for ages - over 4 months in fact so I wasn't sure how well I'd go. I met Dave, John, Chuck and Dave halfway up the hill towards Pendam and we set off in the dark for a ride. Dave R hadn't been out for a while either, and Dave P was new to the area so it wasn't going to be a fast paced ride which was good for me.

We rode up to Pendam and from there did the Summit Trail. I was a little tentative on the descents at first but got back into the swing of things on the Mark of Zoro and then started to enjoy myself. The climbs were OK and I even went back down the Legburner to ride back to the others so rode part of it twice.

Dave and Dave left us at legburner junction and headed back to the cars whilst John, Chuck and I headed off around the top part of the trail to the Visitor Centre and back before finishing off with Hippity Hop and the top of the White Fridge descent.

A good ride all in all and we were lucky with the weather too.
